Have you been feeling different recently but can’t identify the cause? The early signs of pregnancy can be easy to miss. Some women experience various symptoms simultaneously or even none at all.

If you’ve noticed a missed period or have been feeling nauseous, these could be among the biggest indicators of pregnancy. We can help you determine if you’re pregnant and guide you through your next steps.

Pregnancy Symptoms

The following is a list of the most common pregnancy symptoms noted by the Mayo Clinic

Missed Period

If you miss your period, it might mean you’re pregnant. But if your periods are usually irregular, this sign might not be clear.

Tender, Swollen Breasts

During pregnancy, hormonal shifts can cause your breasts to feel tender, sore, sensitive, or even swollen. As your body adapts to these changes, the discomfort should lessen.

Nausea With or Without Vomiting

Commonly referred to as “morning sickness,” nausea can actually occur at any time of the day. Feeling sick is another symptom some women experience, while others don’t. The cause isn’t entirely known, but likely due to hormonal changes.

Increased Urination

Are you going to the bathroom more than usual? Your kidneys process more fluid due to an increase in the amount of blood in your body.

Maybe you feel more tired than usual. Fatigue is a common early sign of pregnancy. The exact reason for feeling more tired during the first trimester isn’t clear. Yet, it’s thought that the quick increase in progesterone levels early in pregnancy could be a factor in causing fatigue.

Other Signs

You may notice other things, such as moodiness, bloating, light spotting, cramping, constipation, food aversions, or nasal congestion.

While these symptoms could indicate you’re pregnant, they simply aren’t enough to fully determine it. These signs aren’t unique to pregnancy, and there’s a chance you could be pregnant without experiencing any of them.
